There’s 600 and if you want to divided them into three people then you do 600 divided by 3 and you get 200 then each get 200 because theres three of them and your trying to divided it in to three sections
To find out how much each school would get out of $600 I started with adding all the numbers of box tops each school collect to find the percent’s of each number of box tops to the whole number of box tops. All the numbers added up to 7916 box tops. I divided 3760 box tops by the total number of box tops and got 47.5 % and 47.5 % of $600 is $285. so the first school gets $285 out of $600. so for the second school I divide 2301 box tops by 7916 total box tops and got 29.07% and rounded 29.07% to 29% and 29% of $600 is $174. so the second school got $174. so for the third school I divided 1855 box tops by 7916 total box tops and got 23.43% and rounded that to 23% and 23% of $600 is $138. the first school got $285 the second school got $174 and the third school got $138.
I added all the teachers number of box tops and divide the answer by three and got my answer. 3,760+ 2,301 +1,855= 11,916 and divided it by three 11,916 divided by 3 and I got 3,972.
3,760+2,301+1,855=26,386.666
but, I rounded it and I got $26,386.67
HOPEFULLY,I got it right. Heck, I had to redo the problem at least maybe 3 TIMES !!!
i added all of the teachers boxtops together and than divided it by 600 and got 13 r.116 but logically i thought in my head and said well their is 3 teachers and you can split 600 hundred dollars evenly into 3 people so they got 200 dollars each!!!!!! <3
mr.h got 3,760 out of 7916 so he desrives $284.99 and mrs.B got 2301 out of 7916 so she desirves $174.41 and mr.c got 1885 out of 7916 she desirves $140.60
Mr. H got 3,760/7,916so he gets $284.99 and Mrs. B got 2301/7916 so she gets $174.41 and Mr. C got 1885/7916 so he gets $140.60 and I checked my work and got $600.
my answer was 1,800 because i multiplyed 600 and 3 and got 1,800 i got the three from all the three numbers that are 3,760,2,301,1,855 and thats my answer
first you should add all the box tops together then you divide the $600 by the total amount of box tops. hears what i got when i diveded the $600 by all of the box tops. i got $13.193333 each class gets of the prize money when the split it by all the box tops.
First they should add all the box tops together then you divide the $600 by the total amount of box tops. and when i divide the $600 by all of the box tops numbers i got 8516 and that my answer.
Ok if they won $600 and they have to divide in 3 classes each class will get $200 because I you divide them it will de $200 for each class Ex:600/3 Equal 200 is is $200😎
Since there are three seventh grade classes and they got $600 to split between them you would divide $600 by three and your answer would be $200. So each seventh grade class would get $200
If you solve the proportions: 3760(600)=7916x, 2301(600)=7916x, 1855(600)=7916x. You will get $285 (rounded) for Mr.Hernandez’s class, $174 (rounded) for Mrs.Baca’s class, and $141 (rounded) for Mr.Coopers class. To check i added 285, 174, and 141 together to equal $600.
Mr. Hernandez’s class would get 284.94 dollars of the 600 dollars of the prize money. Mrs. Baca’s class would get 174.36 dollars of the prize money. Last Mr. Coopers class would get 140.58 dollars of the prize money. I got this by adding up all the box tops together and getting 7,916 then I did 3,760 divided by 7,916 and got 47.49%. Then I did 2,301 divided by 7,916 and got 29.06%. Last I did 1,855 divided by 7,916 and got 23.43%. Then I did 600*.4749 and got 284.94 dollars is how much Mr. Hernandez’s class got. Next I did 600*.2906 and got 174.36 dollars is how much Mrs. Baca’s class would get. Last I did 600*.2343 and got 140.58 is how much Mr. Cooper’s class would get.
what i did was add the the class box all together for a total of 7,916. then i brook each of them down and divided the total box tops collected and divided it by there individual amount.then i multiplyed each amount by 600 to find what each class should get.
Hernandez class should get 284.99 rounded to 285.00 dollars
Bacas class should get 174.36 rounded to 174.40 dollars
coopers class should get 140.58 rounded to 140.60 dollars.
They should divide 3 and 600 because they have to share $600 and there are 3 seventh grade classes and when you divid you get $200. So each class get $200.
ok so, how they should divide the money is in the question itself… you have to divide.so there are three seventh grade classes. Mr. Hernandez class collected 3,760 and Mrs. Baca’s class collected 2,301 and Mr. Coopers class collected 1,855. you divide all the numbers by the six hundred dollars and you get your answer
what i did to figure this out is, i first figured out the total of box tops there were so i added 3760+2301+1855=7916 after that i divided each classes number of box tops by the total and got my decimal form each class the next thing that i did was then multiply the decimal by 600$ that gave me the amount of money of witch each class should get so mr.hernandez’s should get 282 out of the 600 and mrs.baca’s class should get 174 out of the 600 and mr. coopers class should get 138 out of the 600.
add all the box tops then divide 3 because there are three classes in all and so 3,760 plus 1,855 plus 2,301 and that gets you 7,910 and then you divide it by threee.the end.
The three classes collected 7,916 box tops total. Mr. Hernandez’s class collected 3,760 which is 47.4 percent of the total, so 47.5% of $600 = $285 for their share. Mrs. Baca’s class collected 2,301 box tops which is 29.1%, so 29.1% of $600 = $174.40 for their share. Mr. Cooper’s class collected 1,855 box tops which is 23.4%, so 23.4% of $600 is $140.60 for their share.
First, I found out the total amount of box tops which was 7916, because 3760 + 2301 + 1855 = 7916 box tops. Then, I found out what percentage of box tops each class collected by dividing the amount of box tops collected by the total amount of box tops collected (7916). For Mr. Hernandez’s class I divided 3760 by 7916 to the third decimal, which was 47.498 percent, for Mrs. Baca’s class I divided 2301 by 7916, to the third decimal place, which was 29.067 percent, for Mr. Cooper’s class I divided 1855 by 7916, to the third decimal place, which was 23.433 percent (these percentages added up to 99.998% instead of 100% but I figured that was close enough). Then, I found out what each of these percentages would be out of 600 (percentage/100 * 600/1). For Mr. Hernandez’s class, I ended up with 28498.9/100, which equals 284.988, since money only has two decimal places I rounded that to $284.99. Mr. Hernandez’s class gets $284.99. For Mrs. Baca’s class, I ended up with 17440.2/100, which equals 174.402, to turn that into money I rounded to the hundredths place, so Mrs. Baca’s class gets $174.40. For Mr. Cooper’s Class, I ended up with 14059.8/100, which equals 140.598, which I rounded to $140.60. Mr. Cooper’s class gets $140.60. (All of these add up to 599.99, so there’s 1 cent left over, but what does a penny matter?)
This took me so long.
The answer I got was that Mr.Hernandez should get 289 dollars, Mrs.Baca’s class should get $177 and Mr.Cooper’s class should get $134, The way I got this answer was by adding all the number of box tops together then divided it by 3. The answer for that was 13.1933333 and so on, so which is about 13 box tops per dollar, then I started dividing the amount of box tops they made by 13 to see how much they earned, so 3,760 divided by 13 was about 289, 2301 divided by 13 was about 177 and 1855 divided by 13 was about 134.
So if you add 3760, 2301, and 1855 you’ll get 7916 box top. Then you multiply by 0.10 because that’s how much a box top is worth. you’ll get 791.60. You also have to add 600 dollars to that 791.60. You add that up and get 1391.60 dollars. So to divide it up, you have to divide it by 3 because there is only 3 classes (which sounds weird for a middle school) Then the answer will appear.
We need to figure out how much a box top is worth. To do that we need to find the total amount of box tops.
Mr H. 3,760 + Ms B. 2,301 + Mr.C 1,855 = 7,916 box tops in all.
We have to $600 by 7,916=0.0758 cents per box top.
Now we have to multiple each class tox tops by 0.0758
Mr. Hernandez class gets 3,760 x 0.0758= $285
Ms Baca class gets 2,301 x 0.0758 = $ 174.40
Mr. Cooper class gets 1,855 x 0.0758 = 140.60
We need to add them to check the split
285 + 174.40 + 140.60 = 600
i thing each class should get $200 because since there are only three classes and there is $600 you would have to divine 6 b three because that is how many classes there are and that is how i got my anwser of each class gets $200
Mr. Hernadez’s class gets $284.99, Mrs. Baca’s class gets $174.41, And Mr. Cooper’s class gets $140.60.First I added all of the box tops of the classes and got 7,916. Next what I did was I got equations for each class. Mr. Coopers equation is 1,855 bt./7,916 total bt.=x/$600, Mrs. Baca’s equation is 2,301 bt./7,916 total bt.=x/$600, and Mr. Hernandez’s equation is 3,760 bt./7916 total bt.=x/$600. I solved those equations and got my answer.
The first thing I did was that I added everything up. After I add 3760+2301+1855 I got 7916. Then I divide 3760 by 7916 to get my answer, which I changed into a decimal and I moved the decimal two places to the right and I rounded it to 48% for Mr. Hernandez’s class. For the next one I did the same thing and I divide 2301 by 7916 and I got 29% for Mrs. Baca’s class and for the last one I did 1855 by 7916 and I got 23% for Mr. Cooper’s class. So the class should multiply the $60 by the percentage each class gave. I then multiplied 48% by $600 and I got $288 for Mr.Hernandez’s class, the next one I did 29% by $600 and I got $174 for Mrs. Baca’s class and for the last one I did 23% and times it by $600 and I got $138 for Mr.Cooper’s class. So my answer is for Mr. Hernandez’s they get $288 and for Mrs. Baca’s class they get $174 and for the Mr. Copper’s class get $138.
i fugured out that the firts class got 47% so they should get half of that money becasue they were very close to the box tops and the second clas that got 29% and the third class that got 23% should split the money togother becasue the both almost got the same percent and they wernt that close
The classes should just divied the prize money of $600 into three fo each class wich will equal $200 so it caold be equaly divided, but if they choose not to do that and the three classes go dividing the prize money into how many box tops each class got, then they would have/get a odd number.
Mr. Hernandez’s class gets $285 for collecting 3,760 box tops.
Mrs. Baca’s class gets $174 for collecting 2,301 box tops.
Mr. Cooper’s class gets $285 for collecting 3,760 box tops.
I got my answer by first adding all the box tops together and then dividing the total by the number of box tops from each class. Then, I divided 600 by the result. So that’s when i got my answer and I had to round if the number after the decimal was higher than 5. That’s how i got my answer.
I got my answer by first adding all of the box tops that were collected by all 3 classes together and then dividing dividing the total(7,916) by the number of box tops collected from each class. Then i divided 600 by all three of my results and i rounded for each one. So in Mrs.Hernandez’s class the class would get $285, in Mrs.Beca’s class they would get $174, abd finally in Mr.Coopers class the class would get $141. And all of this equals $600✨😆😊😜😝😂👌👌👊👊
Mr. Hermandez class will earn $284.99 out of the 600 because if the total boxtops from each class is 7916 u would want to divde the classes boxtops by that then multiply by 600 to get your answer. Mrs. Baka class will earn $174.40 and Mr. Cooper class will earn $ 140.60.
Mr.hernandezs box tops were 47.5 % of the total so his class gets 285 $. Mrs bacas had 29.07 % of the total so her class got 174.42 $. Mr cooper has 23.43 % of the total so his class got 140.58 $
First I added all the classes box tops together to find the total collected 3,760+2,301+1,855= 7,916 box tops.
Next I found the percent each class gathered
Mr Hernandez class raised 3760/7916 which is 47.5%
Mrs Bacas raised 2301/7916 which is 29.1%
Mr. Cooper raised 1855/7916 which is 23.4%
Now I need to find the percent of $600 that goes to each class
Mr. Hernandez class gets 47.5% which is $285.00
Mrs. Bacas class gets 29.1% which is $174.60
And Mr. Cooper gets 23.4% which is $140.40
Mr. Hernandez’s class will get $284.99, Mrs. Baca’s class will get $174.41, and Mr.Cooper’s class will get $140.60.
First I added 3760, 2301, and 1855 and I got 7916. Then I turned them into fractions. I di 3760 over 7916, 2301 over 7916, and 1855 over 7916. Then I multiplied each fraction by 600 and I got about 284.99 for Mr. Hernandez’s class, about 174.41 for Mrs. Baca’s class, and about 140.60 for Mr. Cooper’s class. If you add them together they equal $600.
what i did was add the the class box all together for a total of 7,916. then i broke each of them down and divided the total box tops collected and divided it by there individual amount.then i multiplyed each amount by 600 to find what each class should get.
Hernandez class should get 284.99 rounded to 285.00 dollars
Bacas class should get 174.36 rounded to 174.40 dollars
coopers class should get 140.58 rounded to 140.60 dollars.
Mr.Hernandez got – 3,700 box tops
Mrs.Baca got – 2,301 box tops
Mr.Cooper got – 1,855 box tops
Therefore, Mr.Hernandez would get $300 because he got (3),700 and Mr.Baca would get $200 because she has (2),301 and Mr.Cooper would get $100 because he (1),855… Its hard to explain but they would get that cause they that’s what they would get out of the $600
first i added the numbers and made them rates with 7916 on the top of each rate. I found each unit rate and i got 284.99 for mr. Hernandez class, 174.41 for Ms. bacas class, and 140.60 for mr. coopers class.
the answer would be 200 dollars cause there is a 60 dollar priz so u divide that by 3 cause there are three classes u are dividing it to … and when u do that it gives u 200 bucks so that is da answer
The way I would divide it is 600 divided by 3 because there is three of them and you trying to divide it into three sections and the answer I got is 200 so they each get 200.
I got this by adding all the box tops amounts together (7916) and then dividing the total by each number of box tops (3760, 2301, and 1855) and then I divided each of those quotients by 600 and then I rounded each of my answers.
So you know how I got 1391.60 dollars? So if you divide by 3 (Because there’s 3 classes.) You’ll get 463.86 dollars. So each class will get 463.86 in box tops
Okay, so you have to add the box tops that were collected by the classes together and then divide the total(7,916) by the number of box tops each class collected, next, divide 600 by all three results and you have to round for each one. Finally in Mrs.Hernandez’s class they would get $285, in Mrs.Beca’s class they would get $174, and in Mr.Coopers class they would get $141. sorry about my first answer. Idek what I was thinking 😂😂✌️
mr. harnandez’s class gets $300
ms. becas class gets $150
ms. cooper’s class gets $150
i got my answer by dividing 600 by 2 and then i divided 300 by 2
what i did is added 2,3 than 2,1. Than i added 1,and 3 and got differnt numbers like 1459,446 and 1905 and evenly divided $600 and the 1st class got $300 class number 2 got $200 and 3rd class got $100
Mr. Hernandez’s class would get 284.94 dollars of the 600 dollars of the prize money. Mrs. Baca’s class would get 174.36 dollars of the prize money. And last but not least Mr. Coopers class would get 140.58 dollars of the prize money. I got this by adding up all the box tops together and getting 7,916 then I did 3,760 divided by 7,916 and got 47.49%. After I did 2,301 divided by 7,916 and got 29.06%. And lastly 600*.2343 and got 140.58 is how much Mr. Cooper’s class would get.
Mr. H class had 3,760 box tops out of 7,916 so his class should get $284.99. Mrs. B class had 2,301 box tops out of 7,916 so his class should get $174.41. Mr. C class had 1885 box tops out of 7,916 so his class should get $140.60.
I would divide 600 and 3 because they have to share $600 and 3 because there are 3 seventh grade classes and when I divided them I got 200.So they each get 200.
Mr.Hernadez’s class should get $500 because they have more box tops then anyone. Mrs.Baca’s class should get $150 because they have the 2nd most box tops number. Lastly, Mr.cooper’s class should get $50 because they have the least amount of box tops.
so MR.Hernandez should get 300$ because he collected the most box tops, MRS. Baca should get 200$ because she collected the 2d most amount of box tops, and MR.Cooper collected the least amount of box tops so he gets 100$ and 300+200+100=600. I THINK.
first you have to find out the total number of box tops which is 7916 because you have to add 3760+2301+1855=7916 box tops every class collected by dividing the amount collected by the total amount collected for Mr.hernandez’s class you would divide 3760 by 7916 to a decimal it was 47.498 for Ms.beca class you would divide 2301 by 7916 to the third decimal place which was 23.432 percent after t I found out each of the percentgaes would be 600 for Mr. Hernandez you would end up with 28498.9 divide with 100 which you get 284.99 for Ms. beca’s class you would get 174.40 and for Mr.cooper you would then end up with 14054 by 8 divided 100 which you would get is 140.60 which you end up getting 599.99 percent.

There’s 600 and if you want to divided them into three people then you do 600 divided by 3 and you get 200 then each get 200
There’s 600 and if you want to divided them into three people then you do 600 divided by 3 and you get 200 then each get 200 because theres three of them and your trying to divided it in to three sections
Did they all contribute equally to the box tops collected?
To find out how much each school would get out of $600 I started with adding all the numbers of box tops each school collect to find the percent’s of each number of box tops to the whole number of box tops. All the numbers added up to 7916 box tops. I divided 3760 box tops by the total number of box tops and got 47.5 % and 47.5 % of $600 is $285. so the first school gets $285 out of $600. so for the second school I divide 2301 box tops by 7916 total box tops and got 29.07% and rounded 29.07% to 29% and 29% of $600 is $174. so the second school got $174. so for the third school I divided 1855 box tops by 7916 total box tops and got 23.43% and rounded that to 23% and 23% of $600 is $138. the first school got $285 the second school got $174 and the third school got $138.
you add all of the box tops together then find the fraction for each class
What is your answer Dustin?
I GOT 13.4 PER EACH CLASS

How could they get more than the $600 they earned from the box tops? Please check your answer to make sure it makes sense before you submit!
i added all of the teachers boxtops together and than divided it by 600 and got 13 r.116 but logically i thought in my head and said well their is 3 teachers and you can split 600 hundred dollars evenly into 3 people so they got 200 dollars each!!!!!! <3
If you split the money evenly, did they all contribute an even amount of box tops?
i divided each classes box tops collected by total of all box tops and than tmes them all by 600 hundred thn added the all and my answer is 62.40
mr.hernandez should get half of the money $300, mrs.bacas class should get $200 and mr coopers class should get $100

How did you get your answer Brandon?
my answer was 1,800 because i multiplyed 600 and 3 and got 1,800 i got the three from all the three numbers that are 3,760,2,301,1,855 and thats my answer
How could each class get MORE than the money they received for the box tops? Please make sure your answer makes sense!
The answer is 13.19 because you add up all the number and get 7916 then you dived 600 because the wont it equal and that how you get the answer i got.
If each class gets $13, does that add up to the $600 they received from the box tops? Please make sure your answer makes sense before you submit!
first you should add all the box tops together then you divide the $600 by the total amount of box tops. hears what i got when i diveded the $600 by all of the box tops. i got $13.193333 each class gets of the prize money when the split it by all the box tops.
If each class gets $13, does that add up to $600? Please make sure your answer makes sense before you submit!
First they should add all the box tops together then you divide the $600 by the total amount of box tops. and when i divide the $600 by all of the box tops numbers i got 8516 and that my answer.
How could each class get more money than they received from the box tops? Please make sure your answer is reasonable before you submit!
Ok if they won $600 and they have to divide in 3 classes each class will get $200 because I you divide them it will de $200 for each class Ex:600/3 Equal 200 is is $200😎
Did each class contribute equally to the box tops collected? How much would each class get based on the number of box tops collected?
Since there are three classes you have to divide 600 3 which is 100 so each class gets one hundred dollars.
Does 3 time 100 equal 600? Make sure you check your answers Trey!
they ach get 200$ by deviding 600 by 3
Why did you divide by 3 Turie?
each class would get about 200 dollars since there are 3 classes that would be an equal amount
:0 🙂 :0 🙂
Did they all contribute equally to the box tops collected?
You would have to do $600 divided by the 3 different classes and you get $200 for each class
Did each class contribute equally to the box tops collected? How much would each class get based on the number of box tops they collected?
Since there are three seventh grade classes and they got $600 to split between them you would divide $600 by three and your answer would be $200. So each seventh grade class would get $200
Did each class contribute equally to the box tops collected? How much would each class get based on the number of box tops they collected?
If you solve the proportions: 3760(600)=7916x, 2301(600)=7916x, 1855(600)=7916x. You will get $285 (rounded) for Mr.Hernandez’s class, $174 (rounded) for Mrs.Baca’s class, and $141 (rounded) for Mr.Coopers class. To check i added 285, 174, and 141 together to equal $600.
Mr. Hernandez’s class would get $296, Mrs. Baca’s class would get $150, and Mr. Cooper’s class would get $105.
How did you get your answers Ben?
I added their total amounts raised, and divided that by 600, and divided that according to the original total.
Did they contribute equally to the box tops collected? How much should each class receive based on the number of box tops they collected?
ok so, how they should divide the money is in the question itself… you have to divide.so there are three seventh grade classes. Mr. Hernandez class collected 3,760 and Mrs. Baca’s class collected 2,301 and Mr. Coopers class collected 1,855. you divide all the numbers by the six hundred dollars and you get your answer
What IS your answer Emma?
They can each earn 200$
How did you get your answer Seth?
what i did to figure this out is, i first figured out the total of box tops there were so i added 3760+2301+1855=7916 after that i divided each classes number of box tops by the total and got my decimal form each class the next thing that i did was then multiply the decimal by 600$ that gave me the amount of money of witch each class should get so mr.hernandez’s should get 282 out of the 600 and mrs.baca’s class should get 174 out of the 600 and mr. coopers class should get 138 out of the 600.
they could each get $200 because there is $600 dollars so you could divide the $600 dollars by 3 and you would get $200 dollars each
Did they each contribute equally to the box tops collected? How much should they each get based on the number of box tops they collected Logan?
Mr.Hernandezs gets $282
Mrs cooper gets $138
Mrs Bacas $174
How did you get your solution Alexa?
add all the box tops then divide 3 because there are three classes in all and so 3,760 plus 1,855 plus 2,301 and that gets you 7,910 and then you divide it by threee.the end.
How much should each class get Saray?
They should divide the money by: class
———–
total amount of box tops = % of money they would get.
What is your answer Renee? Please explain the steps you are taking to find your answer!
mr hernandez’s class got 47 percent and ms baca’s class got 29 percent also mr cooper’s class got 23 percent.
How much money should each class get? How did you figure out the percentages Jaydin?
Mr. Hernandez’s class should get $288, Mrs. Baca’s class should get $174, and Mr. Cooper’s class should get $138.
How did you get your answers Jasmin?
The three classes collected 7,916 box tops total. Mr. Hernandez’s class collected 3,760 which is 47.4 percent of the total, so 47.5% of $600 = $285 for their share. Mrs. Baca’s class collected 2,301 box tops which is 29.1%, so 29.1% of $600 = $174.40 for their share. Mr. Cooper’s class collected 1,855 box tops which is 23.4%, so 23.4% of $600 is $140.60 for their share.
each class would get 200$
600/3=200
Did they all contribute equally? Please explain why you divided by 3.
Mr.Hernandez would get $300
Ms.baca would get $200
Mr Cooper would get $100
How did you get your answers Laila?
Hernandez = $284.99
Baca = $174.40
Cooper = $140.60
How did you get your answers Brandon?
What is your answer Walter? How much should each class get?
they should split it evenly because that is fair it would be $200 each
Did they all contribute evenly?
They should divide the $600 dollars by 3 because there are three teachers and if they did that each teacher would get $200 dollars.
If you divide the money equally, that tells me that they each contributed an equal amount of box tops. Is that true?
i added each number and the money together then got 8516 then i divided it by 3 and got $283.30 each class got as my answer
If you divide by 3, that tells me they each contributed equally. Is that true?
How much money should each class get based on the number of box tops they turned in?
y=$200x
How much money should each class get based on the number of box tops they turned in?
Each class would get $200.
How did you find your solution? What would each class get based on the number of box tops they turned in?
Mr. Hernandez’s class has 47% which = $283.00.
Mrs. Baca’s class has 29% which = $174.00.
Mr. Cooper’s class has 22% which = $133.00.
How did you find your solution Tristin?
What is your solution Saul? How much money does each class get?
The classes should just divied the prize money of $600 into three fo each class wich will equal $200 so it caold be equaly divided, but if they choose not to do that and the three classes go dividing the prize money into how many box tops each class got, then they would have/get a odd number.
How much did each class earn based on the number of box tops they provided?
To get my answer first i added all of the box tops collected and got 7,916 boxtops. Next, i divided $600 into 7,916 and got $13.20 as a final answer
Does it seem reasonable that $13 times 3 classes would be $600?
they should all divide it by $200 so each gets the same fraction of the prize by collecting box tops.
What is your solution Bernice?
How did you find your solutions Dayne?
First I added all the classes box tops together to find the total collected 3,760+2,301+1,855= 7,916 box tops.
Next I found the percent each class gathered
Mr Hernandez class raised 3760/7916 which is 47.5%
Mrs Bacas raised 2301/7916 which is 29.1%
Mr. Cooper raised 1855/7916 which is 23.4%
Now I need to find the percent of $600 that goes to each class
Mr. Hernandez class gets 47.5% which is $285.00
Mrs. Bacas class gets 29.1% which is $174.60
And Mr. Cooper gets 23.4% which is $140.40
They should divide them by giving the 2 classes with the most 200 and the one class that is left with the least 100
How did you get your answer Kevin?
They should add all the money up then dived it by 3.
How much should each class get?
Divide it by 1000 each
What is your answer Onterio?
If you add them together they equal $600.
they should give mr hernadezs class 300 and the other two classes 150
they should give mr hernadezs class 300 and the other two classes 150
;p
How did you figure this out Landon?
what i did was add the the class box all together for a total of 7,916. then i broke each of them down and divided the total box tops collected and divided it by there individual amount.then i multiplyed each amount by 600 to find what each class should get.
Mr.Hernade’s class $300,Mrs.Baca’s class $200,and Mr.Cooper’s class $100.
How did you find your answer Kai?
the answer would be 200 dollars cause there is a 60 dollar priz so u divide that by 3 cause there are three classes u are dividing it to … and when u do that it gives u 200 bucks so that is da answer
The way I would divide it is 600 divided by 3 because there is three of them and you trying to divide it into three sections and the answer I got is 200 so they each get 200.
Oh no! Who does this post belong to?
$200
How did you find your answer Cameron?
Mrs. Hernandez’s class gets $285.04.
Mrs. Baca’s class gets $174.42.
Mr. Cooper ‘s class gets $140.85.
Does that seem possible Walter? They only received $600 for the boxtops they submitted.
1. ADDING: 3,760+2,301+1,855=7,916
2. So, first your going to take Mr.Hernandez’s amount and divide it:
3,760/7,916=47%
47%*600=$285
3. Take Mrs.Baca’s amount and do the same thing:
2301/7916=23%
23%*600=$140.60
4. Now Mr.Cooper’s amount:
1855/7916=29%
29%*600=$174.40
So Mr.Hernandez will get $285, Mrs.Baca’s will get $140.60, and Mr.Cooper will get $174.40.
Samantha B.
26,566 per class
Does this seem reasonable Teresa?
And lastly 600*.2343 and got 140.58 is how much Mr. Cooper’s class would get.
i got 13.4
your answer would be $200.00 because if you take 600 and divide it by 3 it would be evenly divided and your answer is $200.00
You would dicide 600 by 3 because there are three teachers so each teacher would get 200.
Mr.Hernadez’s class ($400)
so MR.Hernandez should get 300$ because he collected the most box tops, MRS. Baca should get 200$ because she collected the 2d most amount of box tops, and MR.Cooper collected the least amount of box tops so he gets 100$ and 300+200+100=600. I THINK.
since there is 3 classes and 600 $ you would have to divide 600 and 3 so each class will get 200 boxtops each
Each class should receive $600 dollars evenly.
Every class should get 600$ equally. i think
The answer is 200 because I divided 600 and 3
first you have to find out the total number of box tops which is 7916 because you have to add 3760+2301+1855=7916 box tops every class collected by dividing the amount collected by the total amount collected for Mr.hernandez’s class you would divide 3760 by 7916 to a decimal it was 47.498 for Ms.beca class you would divide 2301 by 7916 to the third decimal place which was 23.432 percent after t I found out each of the percentgaes would be 600 for Mr. Hernandez you would end up with 28498.9 divide with 100 which you get 284.99 for Ms. beca’s class you would get 174.40 and for Mr.cooper you would then end up with 14054 by 8 divided 100 which you would get is 140.60 which you end up getting 599.99 percent.
since you have $600 dollars, and you have 3 classes then you will just divide $600 by 3. so each class should receive $200.
I divided $600 by the 3 different classes and got $200 for each class
