if i want to find out how much the board would cost i would first find the amout of wood which would be 7 1/2 feet . after that i would see how much a board per foot which would be 50cents. so two feet would be $1. two more feet would be another dollar. and another two would be another dollar. then there is the other foot so that would be just 50 cents. then the half foot i would divide 50 in half to get 25 cents so if i added it all up i would get $3.75
if I were to find out how much the boards cost I would find out how much boards there were which is 7 1/2 feet. than I would find how much a board was per foot which I believe would be 50 cents. so than that would mean 2 feet would equal 1$. and if you would keep on adding 2 more feet it would equal another 1$. and than there is another foot than it would be still just 50 cents. than the half board I would divide in half and I would get 25 cents and than my final answer after adding it all up would be $3.75 oops.
the aswer is 3.75. i got my answer by bultiplying .50 times 7 because thats how many inches there are and i got 3.50. so i added .25 cents because 1/2 of .50 is .25 cents. so i got 3.75 as my answer.
so, our problem for today is how much is the cost, in dollars of the wooden board? we have 7 1/2 long of a wooden board and the cost of it per foot is $0.50. you add those together and you get four dollars
The cost of the wood is $3.75. I know this because I took .50 cents multiplied that by 7 (that equalled $3.50). Then I took .50 cents and divided it by 2 because I needed another half and .50 cents is for one whole. So when I divided I got .25 cents, then I added .25 cents to $3.50 and got $3.75!
The answer for this would be 37.50 for the board I got this answer by taking the cost of a board by how long mark wants his board and when you take 7.5 by .50 you get 37.50 for the Board posted by your favorite student
I got 3.75 because since each foot of the wooden board costs $0.50 and if i want to find out how much the whole board costs I could just simply multiply the cost per foot times how long the board is,7.5x.50, and it gives me the answer.
My answer is $35.60 dollers how I got the answer, I used a sheet of paper to see what my anser is I got $35.60 dollers then I used a calculater to my answer to see if its the same and the answer was the same Igot the same answer again.
If mark bought a wooden board that was 7 1/2 ft. long and the cost is $0.50 per foot, you would multiply 7.5 by .50 to get the total cost which is 3.75. 7.5x.5=3.75
For this blog i got 4.25. I got this by multiplying 7 by .5. Next i added divided 50 cents by two and i got 25 so it would be 4.25 because the is a half board!!!
If it is 7 1/2 ft long, we can use 7.5 because they are the same thing. So when I divIde, it will make more sense. Here is the equation:
7.5÷0.50=x
Now, I think, “how many 5s go into 75?” Because 0.50 can be simplified to 0.5 which, if both decimals move to the right, itd be 75÷5=x. This makes the problem easier, plus, keep in mind the .(point) goes at the end because we moved it in the number below. So, we all know that 15= × and that my answer is $15.
If the board is 7 1/2 feet long, and the cost of the board is 50 cents per foot, then you would multiply 7.5, which is equal to
7 1/2, and multiply it by 0.50. The product is 3.75, so the cost is
$3.75.
—————————————————————————————–
work.
7 1/2 = 7.5
the first thing that you would want to do is count by 50 7 times which is $3.50. Then you would divid $0.50 by 2 which is $0.25.then add $3.50 to $0.25 which is $3.75.
You would dived 7 1/2 by .50 cents =15.00 but you would not have that much so it would be .15 cents then you would dived 7 1/2 by .75 cents=10.00 dollars for the wood board.
The cost is $4.50. What I did was I looked at the problem and saw a pattern that for every 2 feet the cost will be 2 dollars and my final answer was $4.50
The cost of the wood would be $3.75 because i multiplied 7 by 0.5 and got 3.5 then i took 0.50 split it in half and got 0.25 then, i added 0.25 to 3.5 and got an answer of $3.75.
it would be $3.75. what I did was I multiplied 7 x .50 and got 3.50 but there is still a half a foot so I divided .50 by 2 to get .25 and added that on to 3.50 to get 3.75 which is how much the board costs
The cost of the 7.5ft is 3.7s dollars. If you multiply 7.5 and .50 you will get 3.750. You 7.5 and .50 because .50 is the cost per feet of wood and there is 7.5 feet of wood . As I said, you multiply those numbers and you have an extra zero so just take out that zero and you have 3.75 dollars
The total cost of the wooden board that Mark bought at the lumber yard was $3.75. To get this answer all that I did was multiply .50 by 7.5. I multiplied that because the wooden board was 7.5 ft. Long and the cost of a wooden board is $0.50 per foot.
the cost is $4.00 because 0.50 times 7 is 3.50 and since it is 7 1/2 you add one more quarter and it is 3.75 but since it has taxes you add one more quarter and it equals $4.00.
The answer to the question is, $3.75 this is how I did it. I know that each foot is fifty cents so every two feet equals a dollar times it by 3 then I still had a foot in a half left. One foot equals fifty cents a half of a foot equals twenty five cents added them together and it equaled seventy five cents.
The cost of the wooden block is three dollars and seventy five cents. To get my answer I used two methods.
The first method was multiplying the number of feet by how much each foot cost. (.50 times 7.) and got 3.50. Last I added the cost of the seven feet with the cost of half a foot (.25) (3.50 + .25) and got $3.75 as my final answer.
The second method I used was setting up a proportion. .50 cents over 1 foot and X over 7 1/2 feet. Next I used my heart to start solving. With my heart I got 1X = 3.75. last I divided 1X by 1 and 3.75 by 1. My final answer was $3.75 for 7 1/2 feet of wood.
You would have to pay $3.75 for the 7 1/2 ft. Long of wood because you would have to multiply 7.5 for 7 1/2 and .5 for $0.50 and that equals $3.75 so then your payment for the wooden board souls be $3.75
Mark’s wooden board is $3.75 in dollars. How I got this answer is I multiplied 7 1/2 by 0.50. I did this because each foot costs $0.50, so sense each foot costs that much you have to multiply the cost by how many feet Mark’s wooden board will be. That’s why Mark’s board will be $3.75.
Well 7 1/2 times 0.50$ is 3.75$ Plus tax and on the wood it say texas and Texas sales and use tax rate is 6.25% and 6.25% of 3.75$ is 0.60$ so 3.75$ plus 0.60$ is 4.35$ so the price of 7 1/2 ft long board is 4.35$
The cost of the Wooden board was $3.75. I got this by first multiplying 0.50 times 7 and got $3.50. then i saw that it was 1/2 foot and then i remembered that half of 50 is 25 so then i did $3.50 + $0.25 (half of 50 ) and i got $3.75. That is how i got $3.75 for how much the board costed.
i got $3.75 because if 1 foot is 50¢ then 2 feet is $1.00 then 3 feet is $1.50 then 4 feet is $2.00 then 5 feet is $2.50 then 6 feet is $3.00 then 7 feet is $3.50. so for the 7 feet it is $3.50. then you have a half a foot so you have to find out what 1/2 of .50¢.and that is .25¢. so then you have too add $3.50 to .25¢ and that got me my final anwser of $3.75.
The first thing that I did was that I multiply 7.5 and 0.5 because I’m multiplying 7.5 feet and 0.5 a foot to get me the answer of the problem. My final answer is 3.75 because that’s how much I got for the cost of the wooden board.
If Mark has 7 1/2 feet of wood he is going to pay 3.75 dollars for it because if you multiply .50 times 3 you get 3.50 and then you add .25 cents and you get 3.75.
First I multiplied the size of the wood which was seven and a half feet by the cost per foot which is fifty cents and got three dollars and seventy five cents. And then I multiplied the state tax amount which is point six eight five to the cost of the wood and got two dollars and fifty six cents and added that to the charged foot amount which is three dollars and seventy five cents and got the total purchased amount charged $6.31.
the cost in dollars of the wooden board would be $4.00 because if you do .50*7, then that equals $3.50. so then if you take the 1/2 from 7, it would be another .50. so then 3.50+ .50 = $4.00.
Okay….. The board is 7 1/2 feet long and for every foot, it’s 50 cents. The way I would figure this out is for every 2 feet it would be $1 so 2′:$1 4′:$2 6′:$3 7′:$3.50 + 1/2: 50 cents. $3.50+$.50=$4.
I got 3.75.First i multiplyed .50 and 7 and got 3.50. then i divided .50 by two because there was a half a foot left and i got .25. then i added them and got 3.75.
The wooden board would cost $3.75. i got that answer by multiplying .50 cents by 7 feet and got $3.50 then add an extra 25 cents because of the 1\2 at the end.
If I wanted to find out the price for each board, so if i wanted two, it would be $1.00. Once you add another four boards, The price adds up to $3.00. And since their is a board that a half, i would cut the 50 cents in half, and make it become 25 cents. Once i added that up, i would get $3.25.
$3.75 because if you multiply 7 from 7 1/2 and the .50 cents its 3.50 and than you get half of 50 and its 25 so them you get $3.50 times 25 your answer is $3.75.
the answer i got was 3.75 because i multiplied .50 with 7 and got 3.50 then divided them by .50 cents then there was one half left and i got .25 then i added them up and got 3.75
if i would of had 7 1/2 ft. and i wanted to buy it i would add how much each foot cost. then i would add up 7 of them. so i would have gotten up to 3.50 but of course there would be tax and the tax would be 25 cent so if you add both of those together that would be 3.75.
When I solved this work the answer I got was 3.75 dollars . The way I solved this was with the 1/2 I changed it into 50 and then I multiplied 7.50 times 0.50 and that’s how I got my answer. I multiplied these two decimals because the question is asking how much each board cost so I think that each board costs 3.75 dollars .
The cost of the wood is $3.75. I know this because I took .50 cents multiplied that by 7 (that equalled $3.50). Then I took .50 cents and divided it by 2 because I needed another half and .50 cents is for one whole. So when I divided I got .25 cents, then I added .25 cents to $3.50 and got $3.75
The answer that i got was $3.75. I got that by multiplying $0.50 and 7 and got $3.50 and the i divided 2 and $0.50 and got $0.25 and then added $3.50 and $0.25 and got $3.75 that is how i got my answer.
The answer i got was $3.75 because i multiplyed .50 cents and 7 and got 3.50 then divided by 2 and got 50 cents and then got 25 i added 3.50 with 25 cents and got 3.75

I got $3.75 for the wooden board.
I got that by multiplying 7 and .50 and got 3.50 and half of 50 is 25 so i added .25 to 3.50 and then i got $3.75
if i want to find out how much the board would cost i would first find the amout of wood which would be 7 1/2 feet . after that i would see how much a board per foot which would be 50cents. so two feet would be $1. two more feet would be another dollar. and another two would be another dollar. then there is the other foot so that would be just 50 cents. then the half foot i would divide 50 in half to get 25 cents so if i added it all up i would get $3.75

the aswer is 3.75. i got my answer by bultiplying .50 times 7 because thats how many inches there are and i got 3.50. so i added .25 cents because 1/2 of .50 is .25 cents. so i got 3.75 as my answer.

Thanks Zac! Can you explain why you did the math you did to solve this problem?
If every board is 50 cents. Then it is 4$ for 7 1/2 boards
Thanks Cole! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
so, our problem for today is how much is the cost, in dollars of the wooden board? we have 7 1/2 long of a wooden board and the cost of it per foot is $0.50. you add those together and you get four dollars
Thanks Emma! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
The answer is $4.00 because you have to multiply 0.50 and 7 and you get 3.50 then you have to add. 50 to get your answer. So the answer is $4.00
Thanks Brandon! Can you explain why you added the 50 cents?
If you multiply 7 1/2 by $0.50 it will equal 3.75. It coasted $3.75 for 7 1/2 pieces of wood that they bought.
3.75 because its 7/1/2 ft. long and then you group two of them and then its 1/2 left than you add it all up
i think the answer is 3.50 dollars
Thanks Saul! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
The cost of the wood is $3.75. I know this because I took .50 cents multiplied that by 7 (that equalled $3.50). Then I took .50 cents and divided it by 2 because I needed another half and .50 cents is for one whole. So when I divided I got .25 cents, then I added .25 cents to $3.50 and got $3.75!
The answer for this would be 37.50 for the board I got this answer by taking the cost of a board by how long mark wants his board and when you take 7.5 by .50 you get 37.50 for the Board posted by your favorite student
Thanks Audra! Does $37.50 seem like a reasonable price if each foot is 50 cents?
I got 3.75 because since each foot of the wooden board costs $0.50 and if i want to find out how much the whole board costs I could just simply multiply the cost per foot times how long the board is,7.5x.50, and it gives me the answer.
My answer is $35.60 dollers how I got the answer, I used a sheet of paper to see what my anser is I got $35.60 dollers then I used a calculater to my answer to see if its the same and the answer was the same Igot the same answer again.
Thanks Carmen! Does $35.60 seem like a reasonable solution if each foot is 50 cents?
If mark bought a wooden board that was 7 1/2 ft. long and the cost is $0.50 per foot, you would multiply 7.5 by .50 to get the total cost which is 3.75. 7.5x.5=3.75
miss ellion my answer is 4 because 50 cents for every foot and there is 7 feet so 3 dollars and plus the extra half foot
Thanks Turie! I’m confused as to how you arrived at your solution. Can you please explain?
For this blog i got 4.25. I got this by multiplying 7 by .5. Next i added divided 50 cents by two and i got 25 so it would be 4.25 because the is a half board!!!
Thanks Anastia! Can you explain why you multiplied, added, and divided?
if mark a wooden board that is 7 1/2ft. long, the cost is $ 0.50 per foot including tax it will cost $3.00 dollars
Thanks Lisbeth! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
If it is 7 1/2 ft long, we can use 7.5 because they are the same thing. So when I divIde, it will make more sense. Here is the equation:
7.5÷0.50=x
Now, I think, “how many 5s go into 75?” Because 0.50 can be simplified to 0.5 which, if both decimals move to the right, itd be 75÷5=x. This makes the problem easier, plus, keep in mind the .(point) goes at the end because we moved it in the number below. So, we all know that 15= × and that my answer is $15.
Thanks Sydney! Does $15 seem like a reasonable amount for the amount of wood if 1 foot is 50 cents?
$3.75 because 7*.5=3.50+25=3.75
The cost of a wooden board that 7 1/2 is $3.50. This is because 50 times 7 is 350 so you just add a decimal point to make a reasonable number.
Good job Trey! I like how you were checking to make sure your answer seemed reasonable!
If the board is 7 1/2 feet long, and the cost of the board is 50 cents per foot, then you would multiply 7.5, which is equal to
7 1/2, and multiply it by 0.50. The product is 3.75, so the cost is
$3.75.

work.
7 1/2 = 7.5
7.5*0.50= 3.75
I divided 71/2 and 0.50
$ and got 0.71.
Thanks Eric! Does 71 cents seem like a reasonable answer if each foot is 50 cents?
for this i got 4. I got this by multiplying 7 by 2. Next i divided .50 by two because there was half a foot.
the first thing that you would want to do is count by 50 7 times which is $3.50. Then you would divid $0.50 by 2 which is $0.25.then add $3.50 to $0.25 which is $3.75.
answer $3.75
$3.75 If you multiply 7*50 you get $3.50 but the one half is .25 so $3.75
1 foot =.50
7.5ft times 50 cents=3.75
the total cost of wooden board is $3.75
50¢=0.5$ so 7 1/2 divided by $0.50= 15$
7 1/2
x0.50
35.60
the cost of the 7 1/2 ft long wooden boards would be $35.60
Thanks Addie! Be very careful with your decimals!
the total mount is 50 x 7=350
the total amount is 350 x .5=175
350+175=525
Thanks Jessica! Does 525 seem like a reasonable solution to you?
first i changed 71/2 to 7.5 and then multiplied that by .50 ad from there I got my answer of 3.750
mark spent 3 dollers and 75 cents on the wooden board
Thanks Dustin! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
You would dived 7 1/2 by .50 cents =15.00 but you would not have that much so it would be .15 cents then you would dived 7 1/2 by .75 cents=10.00 dollars for the wood board.
Thanks Kelton! Can you explain where the 15 cents came from?
the answer is going to be 3.50 because when you do 7 times 50 you get 3.50
Thanks Jada! Be very careful with your multiplication!
The cost is $4.50. What I did was I looked at the problem and saw a pattern that for every 2 feet the cost will be 2 dollars and my final answer was $4.50
Thanks Chase! Can you explain how you figured out the price of 2 feet of board?
The cost of the wood would be $3.75 because i multiplied 7 by 0.5 and got 3.5 then i took 0.50 split it in half and got 0.25 then, i added 0.25 to 3.5 and got an answer of $3.75.
The cost of mark’s wooden board is $3.50.
Thanks Jasmin! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
Never mind Mark’s wooden board is $3.25 because he has half a board and half of 50 is 25 so it is $3.25.
I got my answer by multiplying $0.50 and 7.5 because each foot is fifty cents and my answer/ the cost is $3.75.
the amount of a wooden board would be $15.00
Thanks Jason! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
it would be $3.75. what I did was I multiplied 7 x .50 and got 3.50 but there is still a half a foot so I divided .50 by 2 to get .25 and added that on to 3.50 to get 3.75 which is how much the board costs
The cost of the 7.5ft is 3.7s dollars. If you multiply 7.5 and .50 you will get 3.750. You 7.5 and .50 because .50 is the cost per feet of wood and there is 7.5 feet of wood . As I said, you multiply those numbers and you have an extra zero so just take out that zero and you have 3.75 dollars
oh yea its not 3.7 its 3.75 so don’t freak out
Thanks Walter! I’ll try to keep it all under control and not freak out…lol. 🙂
what i did was multiply 7 1/2 and .50 and i got 3.75 dollars so the answer is 3.75 is how many dollars it would cost
The total cost of the wooden board that Mark bought at the lumber yard was $3.75. To get this answer all that I did was multiply .50 by 7.5. I multiplied that because the wooden board was 7.5 ft. Long and the cost of a wooden board is $0.50 per foot.
The cost of the wooden board is $3.75 because .5 is 3.50. 1/2 of .50 is .25. 3.50 + .25 = 3.75
It costs $3.75 dollars
Thanks Madison! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
the cost is $4.00 because 0.50 times 7 is 3.50 and since it is 7 1/2 you add one more quarter and it is 3.75 but since it has taxes you add one more quarter and it equals $4.00.
Make sure you read the problem very carefully Jeanette! The taxes are included which means that you don’t need to include them in your calculations.
I multiplied 7.5 and .50 and got 3.75. Mark spent $3.75 on the wooden board.
Teresa Magdaleno 2nd. Period 10/23/14
The board is going to be $3.75 because is you multiply 7.5 by .5 it will turn out to be $3.75.
It would cost 3.50 if the wooden board costs 0.50 per foot
Thanks Christian! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
$3.75
$0.50+$0.50+$0.50+$0.50+$0.50+$0.50+$0.50+$0.25=$3.75
So the cost of the wooden board is $3.75
It would cost $3.75 for 7 1/2 feet of wood ; because one foot equals .50 so u would multiply that times 7 1/2 wich equals $3.75.
The board costs $3.75. I got this by multiplying $0.50 and 7 1/2 which equals $3.75.
The cost of the board is $3.75. If it costs $0.50 then 7 feet would be $3.50. Then half a foot would be $0.25. So it would add up to $3.75.
The wooden board will cost $3.75.
I got the answer by converting the fraction 7 1/2 to a decimal.
Then I multiplied 7.50 by $0.50 and got $3.75
You would have to pay $3.75 for the 7 1/2 ft. Long of wood because you would have to multiply 7.5 for 7 1/2 and .5 for $0.50 and that equals $3.75 so then your payment for the wooden board souls be $3.75
Sorry I ment should not souls
the cost in dollars is $3.55 .
Thanks Haley! Can you explain how you arrived at your solution?
Mark’s wooden board is $3.75 in dollars. How I got this answer is I multiplied 7 1/2 by 0.50. I did this because each foot costs $0.50, so sense each foot costs that much you have to multiply the cost by how many feet Mark’s wooden board will be. That’s why Mark’s board will be $3.75.
Well 7 1/2 times 0.50$ is 3.75$ Plus tax and on the wood it say texas and Texas sales and use tax rate is 6.25% and 6.25% of 3.75$ is 0.60$ so 3.75$ plus 0.60$ is 4.35$ so the price of 7 1/2 ft long board is 4.35$
Make sure you read the problem very carefully Jadyn. The tax is included which means that you do not need to include the tax in your calculations.
I got $3.10 for all of the wood, I multipled 7 by 0.50 to get 3.05 then added 0.05 for the other half of the wood.
Be super careful with your multiplication Maisy. Can you explain why you added 0.05?
If Mark has 7 1/2 feet of wood he is going to pay 3.75 dollars for it because if you multiply .50 times 3 you get 3.50 and then you add .25 cents and you get 3.75.
i got $3.75.
i got this by multiplying $7.5 and 0.50 and i got $7.75 dollars of wooden board
First I multiplied the size of the wood which was seven and a half feet by the cost per foot which is fifty cents and got three dollars and seventy five cents. And then I multiplied the state tax amount which is point six eight five to the cost of the wood and got two dollars and fifty six cents and added that to the charged foot amount which is three dollars and seventy five cents and got the total purchased amount charged $6.31.
Make sure you read the question very carefully Jaqueline. The tax was included which means that you don’t have to add it into your calculations.
You would multiply 7.5 feet times $0.50 per foot which equals $3.75 for the board.
the cost in dollars of the wooden board would be $4.00 because if you do .50*7, then that equals $3.50. so then if you take the 1/2 from 7, it would be another .50. so then 3.50+ .50 = $4.00.
Good start Bernice! What do you mean by “if you take the 1/2 from 7”?
7.5 x .50 = 3.75
3.75 x .07725 = .29
3.75 + .29 = $4.04
Good start Tristan. Can you explain how you solved this problem?
it would be 3.50 because if the board costs 0.50 than if you add them up you would get 3.50
Okay….. The board is 7 1/2 feet long and for every foot, it’s 50 cents. The way I would figure this out is for every 2 feet it would be $1 so 2′:$1 4′:$2 6′:$3 7′:$3.50 + 1/2: 50 cents. $3.50+$.50=$4.
So the 7 1/2′ board would cost $4.00+ taxs.

The answer is $4.00 because if you do 50*7 that will equal $3.50 then from the 7 1/2 you take the half so that will be 50 then you add $3.50+50=$4.00.
answer:$4.00
The cost of the wood is $3.75. I know this because I took .50 cents multiplied that by 7 (that equalled $3.50). Then I took .50 cents and divided it by 2 because I needed another half and .50 cents is for one whole. So when I divided I got .25 cents, then I added .25 cents to $3.50 and got $3.75!
If I wanted to find out the price for each board, so if i wanted two, it would be $1.00. Once you add another four boards, The price adds up to $3.00. And since their is a board that a half, i would cut the 50 cents in half, and make it become 25 cents. Once i added that up, i would get $3.25.
You get 7 1/2 and tern it in to 7.5 and you montiply it by 0.50 and you will get the cost is $3.75
I put 7.5 X 0.50=3.75
Then i did 3.75 +0.25=4
3.75 + 4= 7.75
$3.75 because if you multiply 7 from 7 1/2 and the .50 cents its 3.50 and than you get half of 50 and its 25 so them you get $3.50 times 25 your answer is $3.75.
okay… so 7 1/2= 7.5 and 0.4= .4lbs, 7.5 x 0.4 = 3.00 so it would cost $3.00
for the 7 1/2 ft long wood
the answer i got was 3.75 because i multiplied .50 with 7 and got 3.50 then divided them by .50 cents then there was one half left and i got .25 then i added them up and got 3.75
the cost of the wooden board is $35.50 ,first i timesd 7*50 and got 35$ and added 5o*.
Put 7.5 times 0.50 which equals 3.75 then do 3.75 plus 0.25 which equals 4 lastly do 3.75 plus 4 and your answer is 7.75.
If mark gets a 7.5 foot plank, and each foot costs .5 then the 7 would equal 3.50 then the halve would be .25, adding 3.50 and .25 would equal 3.75
if i would of had 7 1/2 ft. and i wanted to buy it i would add how much each foot cost. then i would add up 7 of them. so i would have gotten up to 3.50 but of course there would be tax and the tax would be 25 cent so if you add both of those together that would be 3.75.
The price I got was $3.50, is that correct? I double-checked
and I got the same thing.Am I correct?
the price got was 3.50
The cost of the wood is $3.75.
I think that the answer is3.75 because I times 0.05 and 7 then I got 3.50 after that’ I divided 2 and got 25. And added 35, 35 and I got my answer
I think the answer is 3.75 because if you multiply .05 and 7 your answer is 3.50 after you need to add 25 to 3.50 and your answer is 3.75
The answer i got was $3.75 because i multiplyed .50 cents and 7 and got 3.50 then divided by 2 and got 50 cents and then got 25 i added 3.50 with 25 cents and got 3.75
$ 3.75
