Welcome to Clayton Pre-AP Academy!  You are among a fortunate group of students who have the privilege of attending THE BEST middle school in all of Washoe County School District!

Welcome to 7th grade math! I am excited to get to know you! 🙂 Our math department is dedicated to helping you realize your potential as a math student. This year, you will learn many new concepts and review a few you might already know. I am asking you (and expecting you) to work very hard to understand each of the math standards taught in class. This means that you need to ask for help when you don’t understand. I am available everyday at lunch and often before and after school too! You will work harder in math over the next two years at Clayton than you have ever worked before but you will be rewarded when you get to high school and are totally ready to be successful in high school math.

I am excited to begin your middle school journey with you and to help you grow as mathematicians!

This is your first homework assignment! After you have logged into the blog, please leave a comment below that tells me what is the most exciting thing about being a middle school student!

The most exciting thing in middle school is having 6 different teachers because you get to do different things in each class. Also because you get better food than elemetary school.

The most exciting thing about being a middle school student so far is that there are so many people and many chances to make fiends. Also that my school is an A.P. academy (even though I’m still not entirely sure what that means.
