Pumpkin Picking

October27

Safari001

Mr. Meissner is picking pumpkins for our school. He picked one pumpkin on the first day. He picked two pumpkins over the next two days. Mr. Meissner picked 3 pumpkins for three days. Next he picked 4 pumpkins for 4 days and so on.

  • If Mr. Meissner continues this pumpkin picking schedule, on what day will he first pick 6 pumpkins?
  • How many pumpkins will he have picked all together for our school when he completes that first 6 pumpkin day?
