The shadow of blue

July23

One day I was spying on this little girl well I wasn’t really spying on her I was just in the bushes watching people and I saw her.  She was sitting on a wooden park bench and next to her sat a stack of folders with paper in them.  Lucy was written on top of the first folder.  Lucy was very interested in watching the butterflies flutter around the park.  There were all sorts of butterflies, yellow , blue , red and some of them were all different colours.  Lucy pulled out a blue piece of paper and made a butterfly.  A big gust of wind blew past.  “Oh no” cried Lucy.  ” The wind blew my butterfly away”.  She said to herself should I stay here and make another butterfly or get up and get my butterfly?  Lucy made up her mind and off she went to get her butterfly.  Lucy was just about to catch her butterflybut scared it away.  She continued on  her adventure.  Lucy started climbing a tall slide where the butterfly had landed but the butterfly just kept fluttering away.  Lucy came to a tree.  There was a crow sitting on a branch.  She got stick and poked the tree.  The crow flew away unhurt.  She carried on and found the crow again and made faces at the crow.  The crow got angry so decided to chase Lucy.  Lucy started to run but tripped.  Lucy started walking over a sea-sore but fell.  She got up and brushed herself off.  She was so close to catching her butterfly when the crow came back.  Lucy got two sticks and made them go roar.  The crow flew away.  Lucy sat down on the ground and started to cry.  The butterfly came to Lucy and landed on her hand. Lucy put her other hand over the other hand.  Lucy was back to the park bench in no time.  Lucy had her hands closed.  There was an old women looking at Lucy through a window.  The old women came out pushing a wheel -chair but now one was in it.  She picked up Lucy but Lucy’s legs just dangled   .  The old women pushed Lucy back into the orphanage.  Lucy opened her hands and the blue butterfly came to life.  The butterfly was bright blue.  I looked through the window into the orphanage and all the children’s things they loved glowed bright blue , it soon passed onto the city.
